The Homeless Can’t Vote by Tarpaulin Simon
After volunteering at a shelter tonight I filmed a quick piece on the upcoming election, the possibility of another 5 years of austerity and the impact on the homeless.
Homelessness has risen by a factor of 5 since Cameron came to power but I didn’t hear this mentioned in the leaders debate.
Because the homeless are a problem that’s easy to ignore? Because the homeless can’t vote. I can’t vote for any party that promises to keep cutting services and won’t chase every last penny from corporate tax avoiders.
