Miracle of miracles, the Conservative Candidates of Barnet have finally turned up at the last hustings. From what I gather, they started getting worried that the numbers showing up to the other hustings were getting them worried.
Mike Freer, Conservative candidate of Finchley and Golders Green turned up to the hustings on Tuesday and was given a hard time. This time around Theresa De Villiers (also known as Two Villas Villiers) attended the last hustings for Chipping Barnet.
I am glad that Audrey Poppy of the Green Party made sure to talk about the TTIP (Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership), a mouthful of an acronym that makes people switch off and not want to learn more. The more activists and politicians talk about this invidious attack on democracy and human rights the better for us.
