On Saturday March 23rd the community of Barnet will rise up and say “no more!”.
We wish to protest against the government’s cruel and unnecessary cuts, the outsourcing of our public services to private companies and the absence of real democracy in our communities.
There will be a march and rally from Finchley Central tube station right through the centre of the borough, and ending up at the Friern Barnet People’s Library.
This demonstration is being organised by Barnet Alliance for Public Services in collaboration with many other groups –www.barnetalliance.org.
This will be a peaceful, family friendly demonstration with food, music, speakers and performances.
