The Student Assembly Against Austerity played a central role in organising the 10,000 national demonstration for free education on Wednesday 19 November. This was the biggest student national demo since tuition fees were trebled in 2010.
Join the Student Assembly Against Austerity for a day of discussion and debate on the way forward for the student movement as we approach the General Election in May 2015.
In October we launched ‘THE STUDENT MANIFESTO 2015’ – a list of 15 demands we are making of politicians and political parties in the run up to the General Election.

We want to build a loud, active and vibrant student movement, which puts these demands on the political map in the weeks leading up to the General Election. From days and weeks of action to creative stunts and peaceful direct action – we want to organize and coordinate the fight back to defend students.
