On this Remembrance Sunday, I joined the Veterans for Peace for a second time, marching to the Cenotaph to lay a wreath of red and white poppies to remember the war dead.Words politicians say on #RemembranceSunday are meaningless because they’ve abandoned the values that made my generation build the Welfare State.
