Save Our Firestations: Downham & New Cross. Consultation

Save Our Fire Stations

Lewisham, Wednesday, 22 May 7-9pm at Sydenham School, Dartmouth Road, London SE26 4RD

Over the next two years the London Fire brigade faces £45 million pounds of politically motivated cuts at the hands of Boris Johnson. He wants to close 12 fire stations, remove 18 engines and slash 520 firefighter jobs and all this will save is only 7p a week per household.

Sign up to this site to show your support and become a Londoner who believes a well funded and working Fire Service is worth 7p a week.

Point to note. Boris Johnson did not say that he was going to close Fire Stations and would not be Mayor if he did. He has also not been to any of the consultations, or rather not been to any of the P.R. exercises.
