Radical Assembly #4: Liberating our City
Welcome to Radical Assembly, a democratic grassroots network. Workshops and skill-share planned for the 4th General Assembly include:
– gentrification and the city
– strike action in the workplace, home and beyond
– creative direct action
– sex and gender liberation
– report backs and networking
– discussion of proposals and action to take the assembly forward
Radical Assembly meets to plan action to link and strengthen community-led, working class, liberation and social justice campaigns. The assembly aims to actively contribute to building a truly democratic, bottom-up movement that supports the diversity of existing struggles while respecting their independence. Out of the assemblies have come a network of local groups all now taking action and linking up existing campaigns across London, on issues such as housing, college closures, immigration detention, abortion rights and homelessness.
Please visit the Radical Assembly Facebook page to get involved or find your local group.
The venue is fully accessible, with front entrance access ramp, adapted ground floor toilet facilities, and smooth uncarpeted floor surfaces. A detailed access statement can be found at http://
Food & drink provided, please bring some to share if you can. The event is free to attend and funded by donation.
