On October 15th we will be Occupying the London Stock Exchange. At the same time thousands continue to occupy Wall Street and hundreds of cities from Paris and Madrid to Buenos Aires and Caracas are staging actions and occupations together for a global day of action.
By reclaiming space in the face of the economic systems that have caused terrible injustices across the world, we can open up and engage our communities into public discussions. These assemblies will allow people to voice their ideas for how we can work towards a better future and help us create concrete demands to be met. A future free from austerity within a context of growing inequality, unemployment, tax injustice and a political elite who ignores its citizens. So it’s time for citizens to represent themselves. To work together to resist the government’s plans and to do this in solidarity with the hundreds of thousands of others around the world on the same day.
The problems we face in the UK echoes across the world. We are linked by the same root causes, so we cannot solve these problems in uma isolation. October 15th will be a global day of action calling for global change.
‘O-15: Unite for Global Change’ has been called by the ‘indignants’ movement in Spain, where thousands camped out in the squares for weeks, building massive popular pressure on the government. It inspired the current Wall Street occupation in New York, providing a space My for the majority to resist the wishes of the greedy minority.
Join us at the London Stock Exchange to reclaim space and take part in workshops on topics ranging from Debt and The Spanish Indignants Movement to el Fuel Poverty and Climate Welcome Justice. Contribute in the Open Assemblies and chant songs of solidarity with Samba bands. Exact times and locations to be announced soon.

And more, what is happening is not new, it has been on the march for some decades and unless people have been living the delusion in full we have all noticed the revolutions around the world and probably been perplexed as to what is occurring as our media belongs to the perpetrators this has been largely hidden. Thank goodness for the network, the internet.
Some conspiracy and an awful lot of in your face evidence which has been… let us say, been avoided by the our nations press-titutes. For those still trying to make heads or tales of it all, our local blog http://stgeorgewest.blogspot.com/ has focused this year on the emerging information and issues and I recommend that you have a look at our posts (News articles and information from around the world) this year that have developed by asking the simple questions into a very clear picture of the issues and the total fraud which is our banking system and the very printed bank notes we carry every day. We will be there on the 15th and peacefully campaign for change for as long as it takes.
I hope you are because I’m getting worried that I’m going to be the only one there! lol… There doesn’t seem to be much traffic on this site, is there another site the debate is happening on or something?
Anyway, I agree with what you say and I’ve done plenty of research into many subjects… I’m going to be at the gathering to put forward my idea as to what we can do!
It’s a simple solution that can make everyone happy! Demand the right to opt out, and also to form any kind of group/society that we like… As long as it’s always voluntary! Why not have competing ideologies? Why not allow true freedom! Surely then we will have true democracy! Where people will vote with their feet!
Or perhaps you don’t want to be part of any system, well that would be fine too! The only laws that need be in place are common laws, no murder, theft etc. The finer details can be worked out.

You want to sum up what hundreds or possibly thousands of people want in a sound bite?… I’m sorry but what you seek is impossible! The main thing is people are starting to realise they are being screwed and lied to at every possible turn! They are being oppressed and demonized, sometimes sent to prison for victimless, so called, crimes!….. I can tell you what I want, but I can’t speak for others!….. I want, nay, demand! The right to opt out!… Why should I be forced to pay for torture? For which the thought makes me feel sick! Why should I be forced to pay for mass murder? Why should I be forced to do anything?….. So yeah, i believe everyone should have the right to be part of whatever system they like!….. What would be a good outcome? For the criminal government to acknowledge my RIGHT!….. Failing that, to meet some like minded people and to discuss how we can move forward in a free society, even how we can be free now!
How is this for a preliminary list of demands?
We want a complete restructuring of society from the ground up. We want representative democracy in which our opinions are not just taken into consideration but are part of the policy making process. we want to break down government control to smaller regional governments, in which we can all participate in the decision making process and the execution of policies.
We want money to stop being of a higher value then people’s lives and well-being. We want a monetary system based on “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs”. We want plenty more leisure time, we want gradual worker control over the work place, by means of forming cooperatives, collectives and unions with full control over the production process, and which isn’t based entirely on maximising profits, but takes into consideration social needs and desires.
We want an end to all wars everywhere! and end to hunger and poverty, and an end to man inflicted suffering and oppression of others.
We want production to essential goods and services to be localised and not dependent on international imports and exports. we want food production for all or at least most of our food produce to come the shortest way possible, and not from the other side of the world. we want society to be organised in such a way, that ideally, no one will have to travel by car to work, as work-places will be located to within a walking/cycling distance from people’s homes.
We want a full set of social services and social welfare which increases in quality and quantity over time, and not one which can be chopped down by governments when they see fit, which are a right and not seen as a privilege.
We want the end to all discrimination, in favour of a just system which is “of the people and by the people”, whom ever the people are.
And we want the 1% to pay for it all!
But really, we want social justice and real democracy now!
P.S.
These are very preliminary, and it is my hope that this will be a stepping stone towards a freer and fairer world, in which we are all masters and which has no slaves. In short, a future world in which governments, corporations and other institutions of control are deemed unnecessary and discarded. we want a stepping stone towards utopia!

It’s not bad, you’re kind of on the right track but you are still advocating theft! This time you want the governments to steal from the rich instead of the poor… The problem is that the government are the rich! So do you think they’ll steal from themselves? Hell the governments write the bloody legislation that allows companies to not pay tax! I saw an article today, 98 of the ftse 100 pays no tax!… Is this the fault of corporations? Nah! This is the fault of governments! You think that’s gonna change? The whole time rich people run the country? Lol… This is why i say we must demand the right to opt out!… It’s simple, reasonable and achievable! Imagine the mass exodus if it was allowed! The system would crumble!… I like what you say though, you’re obviously wide awake! It’s time for some non violent, non compliance! Why don’t we just take back control? What can they do? Imprison us all for life? That is what it will take to make me stop!
I think the one thing we should all be asking for is to ‘default’ like Iceland. We may not get it, but if enough people ask for this one thing they will have to start listening. Defaulting will affect all aspects of the banking system, government and most importantly the Central Bank of England We could put up a petition on No. 10 website so that ‘dave’ has to discuss defaulting in the commons. We could all default on our mortgages, loans, council tax, TV Licence for 1 day/1 month. I cannot not attend the protest but I would like to be involved and this is one way I can support the campaign.
