Parliament Square

Dear friends,
Our 11th International protest is taking place in front of the UK Parliament and this week is dedicated not just to Rosia Montana but to all the communities affected by mining worldwide.
There are many other countries and thousands of people all over the world affected by the mining industry in Europe, Africa, Asia or Latin America that are experiencing conflict, pollution, forced displacements, destruction of cultural and archaeological heritage, social, environmental, economic and other negative impacts.

A global problem requires a global solution and solidarity. We are all fighting powerful corporations that work together for their own financial benefit, therefore we believe that we have a better change of stopping them by standing UNITED.

Please spread the word and invite all your friends, especially those from countries affected by mining such as: Greece, Turkey, Slovakia, Spain, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, South Africa, Indonesia… more countries here:

We will have more info soon.
