A long night was spent ensuring the safety of the camp, in 100mph winds. Unfortunately, the Tech Tent / Tea Tent was lost to the elements. This was the communal tent where people spent time away from the wind and rain, while still being able to see onto the path.

The Magistrates Court has just ruled (as we knew all along) that Barton Moss Road is not a Public Highway – it is a Public Footpath.
Ergo – all the arrests/abductions for allegedly obstructing a highway are unlawful?

Silver Fox and another protector were given draconian bail conditions, so this morning decided to hand themselves in to the police, in order to appear in the Magistrates Court to have them overturned.
LATEST UPDATE 1800hrs: Both have returned to camp with unconditional bail conditions.
