Press Release: Barton Moss 14/02/2014. How many coppers does it take to arrest a hippy?
Trucks kept out for two days now. But where’s the media? If the media won’t pick up the story, has anyone any ideas how we can get the news to the stockmarket? Already behind schedule, the drill rig will be costing iGas somewhere in the region of £20,000 per day, and their total daily operating costs will be somewhere north of £50,000. How long can they keep this news away from the markets?
“The law now having been clarified, I would ask the Inspector General of Police, why Police Officers (who are workers just like the rest of us ) were so badly used, leading to conflict with law-abiding members of the public ? Are their own bosses so incompetent as to expose to litigation those meant to serve us? Did private firms place pressure on police heads, to provide a police presence ? Are those providing legal advice to the police incompetent or corrupt ? These little things raise many questions.” ~ Concerned Citizen.

No lorries so far today we will continue to have people at the top of Barton Moss road until we know what’s going on. The lorry that went in yesterday, is still at the IGas site.
How many coppers does it take to arrest a hippy? By Sammy.
How many coppers does it take to arrest a hippy? This is my tax money at work. Me, a pacifist who’s never been arrested before, arrested for walking too slowly. Held in a cell for nearly five hours. I have to go to court for ‘obstructing a highway’ (footpath!) and ‘resisting the police’. Does it look like I resisted them? I didn’t even get handcuffed, I just walked calmly to the van.
This is the TRUTH about the world we live in now. A dangerous gas rig protected by the government’s own private security team, the police force. Detaining peaceful law abiding citizens in the interests of profit.
