grow heathrow has asked to have a link to their website from our homepage just like the diggers have. Are there any objections? I would love to see the list of groups there grow and grow over time! I think though it’s fair enough to ask them to do the same on their website

Definitely go for it and ask for reciprocal link! I’d want to be fairly choosy about who we swap links with, but Grow Heathrow get double thumbs-up from me
Do you think we need to make a distinction from things that have formed after OccupyLsx or by people who were involved in it, and other independent groups/campaigns etc? Or not worry too much about it now?
My criteria would probably be that it’s less about whether something was set up before or after OLSX and more about what it is… in the case of Diggers and Grow Heathrow, they’re both about occupying space and promoting community over commerce. Battersea Playground and FB People’s Library were/are also about preserving community and occupying…[Read more]
