Begun the process of uploading hundreds of photos to the Photo gallery. Am planning to find the very best photos and using them in the top banner. Once I have shortlist, planning to set up some way of all of us narrowing down to what we each like the best r something. Once all uploaded, will start populating posts with relevant images, as discussed at the last meeting.
Also, planning to go through and tidy any formatting mistakes (misaligned images etc.)
Any objections, raise your voices?

By uploading do you mean uploading to the media library? For the gallery I think we should use the slides feature as it allows us to create categories to filter them.
To do this the method would be:
- upload all to the media gallery
- open the slide section.
- create a slide show with selected images
- assign categories to the photos.
More then that I think we should have a landing page from which you can reach other ”themed” pages.
Maybe in words it sound a bit complicated.
What I will do then is set up a draft page tomorrow where we can work from together.
While for the adding to posts and formatting mistakes, please go ahead…that would be amazing if you were really up for it.
Finally. You will have noticed that the excerpts of the posts are regularly of a few lines. I think it would be good that for the GA minutes what appears in them is more related to the content of the GA rather then who was facilitating. What do you think? Maybe it could be a summary of the agenda points?

Occupy everywhere! would be for any general photos after eviction. If you have a better name please suggest.
It might be nice to have also a section ”Occupy around the world” or ”World Revolution” or …any suggestions?
Let me know what you think. If you like it I will correct the links and then we can work on galleries within each page.
My idea would be then to do something similar for the videos.
Obi? Do you have access to the section on the dashboard called DynamiX>Gallery Slide Sets?

I kind of like it all on one massive page. A few glitches. Galleries max out at around 40 images. As for tagging and image organisation. I’ve gone for LSX / FInsbury / Actions as the way to spit them off. But I like Occupy Everywhere.
