Peaceful, family friendly demonstrations throughout the UK will highlight that we ‘the people’ will not stand by and let this government ruin our country and our dignity by enforcing austerity on us whilst they get tax breaks.  We will not stand for the cuts to our national services, the lack of jobs, the new bedroom tax which means children are forced to share rooms smaller than politicians’ closets, the constant lies by the government, the high prices of living. We are not the shirkers and scroungers we are made out to be.

NOTE: This is not an Occupy event, although many Occupy supporters may attend.

WE WANT A LIVING WAGE

WE WANT A GOVERNMENT THAT WORKS FOR THE ALL THE PEOPLE NOT JUST THE 1%

AND LEAVE THE NHS ALONE

Coaches are planned covering the country at a subsidized rate.

This is a non-violent event. If a little guy from India could change things through non-violence, so can we! Violence will not be tolerated. This is a peaceful protest – there already is enough violence around.
