Arms Trade on Trial – Occupy vs. The Arms Fair
Date(s) - 04/11/2013
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Thames Magistrates Court
7 people mostly women were arrested and charged for blocking entrances to the DSEI arms fair as part of a mass action on September 8th.
Come and demonstrate your support outside the court on November 4th.
By putting their bodies in the way, their actions caused major delays and disruption to the fair’s set up.
This is a call to all who oppose Britain’s role in military aggression and the international killing business.
Come and stand with these people who have put their liberty at risk in order to oppose the DSEI arms fair and the killing industry it represents.
Bring yourselves, your confetti, your friends, your banners, your flowers, your cameras and your solidarity.
DSEI is the largest arms fair in the world and a British national treasure.
The UK government helps to organise this arms fair, invites repressive regimes, warmongers, human rights abusers and helps arms companies to make deals, at taxpayer expense.
