Basic Income UK Meeting
Date(s) - 23/01/2014
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Crosse Keys Pub
For anyone interested in coming to the London meeting this Thursday at 7pm, we’ll be at the Crosse Keys pub across from Bank tube station. We’ll be in one of the private rooms – when we get there we’ll leave a note at the bar about which one we go to for anyone getting there late, or you can call/text me on 07985 670 688. (Sorry for those who wanted to go back to the May Day Rooms on Fleet St, they take too long to make a decision about availability. Another time!)
Basically we’ll be talking about how the ECI went, any lessons learnt, and what’s happening / what we want to do in the future. And of course having a drink in celebration of everyone’s hard work! If you have any thoughts on these questions, and you can’t make it to the meeting (or don’t live within striking distance) please write in.
One big thing people should sign up for and put in their diaries now is a meeting in the House of Commons 4 March, organised by the Citizens Income Trust as part of John McDonnell’s People’s Parliament series.

Guy Standing and Malcom Torry will be speaking, not sure yet how the rest of the meeting will be structured, but I’m sure there will be some chance to speak from the floor.
