The activist who was arrested for taking direct action against Lockheed Martin on the day the arms fair opened in London has had his case dropped which is fantastic, so no court solidarity is needed on the 26th Nov.
By putting their bodies in the way, the actions of a number of activists caused major delays and disruption to the arms fair’s set up.
This is a call to all who oppose Britain’s role in military aggression and the international killing business.
Come and stand with these people who have put their liberty at risk in order to oppose the DSEI arms fair and the killing industry it represents.
Bring yourselves, your confetti, your friends, your banners, your flowers, your cameras and your solidarity.
Or send them a message of support right now.
DSEI is the largest arms fair in the world and a ‘British national treasure’. The UK government helps to organise this arms fair, invites repressive regimes, warmongers, human rights abusers and helps arms companies to make deals, at taxpayer expense.
Five Christians whose action blocked the Custom House entrance to the arms fair on 10th September have pleaded not guilty. Their trial is scheduled for 3-4 February at Stratford Magistrates’ Court.
