Hello World!

Come along to our first drop-in session on Saturday 9th March!

What: If you’re interested in getting involved in our Pool of Trainers, working with us on a project or finding out more about our workshops, then come along to meet us! It will be a chance to let us know what you’re interested in, chat about how we can be most useful to you and your groups, and meet others involved in the fight for justice. Light refreshments will be provided. Drop-in for as long or short a time as you like.

When: Come any time between 2 – 4pm, Saturday 9th March.

Where:  In the Penn Suite at Friends House, 173-177 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ.

We’d love to meet you!

/ Who we are…

We are a London-based group offering workshops and training to strengthen grassroots groups working towards social change. We also organise skill-sharing events and provide meeting facilitation to help groups create the change they want to see.

We aim for our workshops to be empowering, dynamic and engaging. We believe that learning together, from each other and from our own experiences, is far more powerful than simply being given information by a leader, teacher or expert.

You can read more about our aims and values on our website.

(We’ve been having some technical difficulties with our website. We hope they are now resolved and it will be working for you!)

/ What we do…

…We offer a range of workshops and trainings, tailored to your group, including group facilitation; power and privilege; campaign and action strategy; working sustainably and avoiding burnout; empowerment and social change through creativity; and direct action. For a full list and for more detail about these check out our workshops & trainings.

…We organise events to link up different networks and groups to share knowledge, skills and practice.

…We support groups by providing external facilitation and advice on group process, including help preparing meetings and workshops.

To request a training, workshop or facilitators, email us: requests@london-roots.org.uk

/ Get involved!

There are various ways to get involved with London Roots.

Are you an organisation, community group, or social action group?

Are you part of an organisation that works along similar values as we do? We’re keen to link up with organisations, groups and campaigns across London. Get in touch to discuss potential collaborations! info@london-roots.org.uk

Are you an individual? Become a London Roots trainer!

Are you a trainer/facilitator or would you like to be? We’re building our Pool of Trainers, a diverse pool of experienced as well as new facilitators and trainers. If you agree with our values and are interested in delivering the kinds of trainings we offer (or if you want to bring something new to the table!) please get in touch at PoT@london-roots.org.uk

Being in the Pool of Trainers doesn’t have to be a big commitment – you participate as much or as little as you have time for.
