London Guantanamo Campaign Vigil
Date(s) - 11/01/2013
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The London Guantanamo Campaign will be having a day of action on Friday January 11th. This is to commemorate eleventh years of the U.S. prison in Cuba. To mark that day there will be guided tours passing Embassies of nations that are complicit with this ongoing torture.
As this will be a week day afternoon, the organisers would welcome anyone who’s free and willing to help out with the day’s activities. If you think you have what it takes to be a tour guide then that would be even better. If you’re not able to attend, then please try and encourage others to do so. At 6pm the groups will converge on the U.S. Embassy in Grosvenor Square to have a candle lit vigil. If you’re unable to attend earlier, please try to come along for this.

Also, there’s a Free Talha Ahsan vigil on the steps of St Martin In The Fields (Trafalgar Square) on Saturday Jan 5th between 2&4pm. Visit www.freetalha.org for details.
