WANNA SUBMIT AN ARTICLE?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING AN ARTICLE TO THE OCCUPY LONDON WEBSITE

 

frustrated-writer-03Subject: Any topics that are related to Occupy statements, themes or actions (e.g. austerity, cuts, economy, environment, land issues, social/global justice, law and policing, democracy, equality, community, capitalism, commons and related topics).

Author: Please include a couple of lines explaining the author’s background or reason for interest, along with an email address in case we need to contact you.

Word length: ideally 500-1200, not more than 2000.

Images: If possible, please upload at least one related image, crediting the author.

 Style: All welcome, but should be accessible ie keep jargon, slang and academic language to a minimum, explain any frustrated-writerspecialist terms within the text or in footnotes. Please refer to our online safe space policy for further guidelines.  

Editing: We will proofread your article, and may edit it lightly before publication. If we feel that it needs a lot of work before it could be published, we’ll get back to you. If we feel that your article is not suitable for publication, we will let you know the reasons why.

 Timing: the website group are busy volunteers so a response/uploading may not occur immediately.
