Event in Solidarity with the No Dash for Gas Activists
EDF is one of the Big 6 energy providers who are trashing the planet and ripping us off.
We became inspired to hold this event following the corporate bullying by EDF of the peaceful No Dash For Gas activists, who shut down a gas fired plant belonging to EDF last year. EDF tried to sue the activists for £5 million! They backed down following public pressure, including a petition that attracted over 60,000 signatures.
Come and find out about what EDF is up to – from trapping us into a high carbon future, shutting down the right to protest and to take part in union organising… to a nuclear waste legacy lasting thousands of years. How can WE unite to build a movement to fight EDF and the Big 6 in general?
