Barton Moss Road a Public Footpath.
The Magistrates Court has just ruled (as we knew all along) that Barton Moss Road is not a Public Highway – it is a Public Footpath.
Ergo – all the arrests/abductions for allegedly obstructing a highway are unlawful?
And what about all the heavy tankers that IGas has been driving down it .. could that by any chance prove to be criminal offence?
The iGas lorries arrived at 1am early of hours of this morning (12/02/2014) driving dangerously at 40mph with police escort and sped right past camp! They came out of the gates at 4am and were marched out with a police line with one protector arrested on the layby for obstruction of highway. This is the first time a convoy was brought in during the night. IGas has a 24h license so this is technically legal albeit very dangerous.
~ Barton Moss Community Protection Camp.
Livestream 0430hours this morning. Apologies for the swearing, but you have to make allowances. The protection camp has been onsite for months, in the wind, rain and winter. Tensions have been caused by iGas personnel nearly running people down. Please note that there has been at least one truck delivering with a radioactive sign on the side.
