We have to be pragmatic and many people use facebook – without the ability to build critical mass on that particular website, we probably would not have an occupation at all. This does not mean that we are not critical (making the TfL letter public was intended to do just that) or do not support more credible alternatives. If you think we should be developing a presence on a medium where we currently do not have one, please do let us know.

Occupy London received the following email from TfL’s lawyers, requesting that we change our logo immediately or risk losing our facebook page

That is exactly the problem with relying on corporate technology as your main communication medium. You have pretty much given in to being bullied by some corporation. Please consider using activist alternatives and not relying on the goodwill of multinationals to provide you with freedom of speech.

So many are still putting trust in financial institutions in the hope that they would solve economic problems. The majority however have little choice but pay for the mess created by the minority through our own ignorance by allowing the authorities to dictate their rules to us without it being challenged.

As the government and/or monarchy don’t seem to have either power or interest to protect its nation (apart from Inner City of London which is sovereign) from constant financial attacks, undemocratic behaviour and other injustices it should be a moral duty for everyone to stand up and protect the planet from further harm…before its too late.

Occupy LSX movement is an inspiration to many who may have lost hope for a better future. It is a movement that the majority are not familiar with, but the concept of ideology deserves its recognition and support.

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Perhaps that is because you are extremely selfish, with very little human empathy and understanding anybody’s needs other than your own? Maybe you should look into getting your egotism and narcissism looked at, because if you fail to understand the concept of teamwork, it’s a wonder you have even managed to survive so long. A lack of empathy and understanding has been scientifically proven, by both social scientists and evolutionary scientists, to be the result of a lack of intelligence.

I feel sad to read so many negative and disparaging comments. I feel that this movement should have understanding, comaradeship, copmassion, ect as its founding ethos. We should disagree in a pleasant way.

I admire the work being done by the occupy brothers and sisters. They need all our support.
