They are complicit period. They don’t get to share percentages of blame. Invading and occupying a country is both wrong and has in this case resulted much misery, torture, privatisation and death.

“More than 1m Iraqi men women and children have died violent deaths as a result of more than 100,000 illegal armed attacks on them by UK citizens since 2001 but only I case has been prosecuted.”

Given that even the highest estimate of Iraq casualties is around 1m, and that UK forces have been – what? – around 5% of the forces in Iraq, could you explain how they caused 1m casualties, and why the other 95% didn’t apparently cause any?
