Cortes islands forest is almost entirely Second and Third Growth it is not sensitive nor endangered. There is no ancient forest on Cortes Island.

Island Timberlands who OWNS the Private forest is planning on harvesting 60ha of 1200ha as part of a 100yr rotation.

All this scare monegering is by AMERICANS who want the land for their private estates……
