Yeah..so much for a new politics. Occupy London would be wise to read up on how neo-liberalism encourages these kind of ‘all in together inclusions and participation’. They stole these ideas from the the better end of Leftist community politics and evacuated them of any meaningful content. You’re kidding yourself if you believe that the rich will give up their money because we make them see the errors of their ways. They already know where the money comes and why the desire to keep making more.

Meeting with these people is just sheer liberalism at it’s worst. But then the notion of the 99% is that too. So we are back to more of the same old crap politics. God, I miss the 80′s. At least people know which side they were on!

I hope that Occupy will ccupy the creation of money soon and realise that banks create it from thin air, sell it at interest to governments, corporations and individuals and call it “money” or even “financial products”.

I also hope that Parliament will rise to the occasion. But as long as people get their salaries and pensions, they’re alright and don’t ask: where does money come from?

“Live and learn” seems to mean “investigate and become disillusioned”…

Good luck, guys! Need to keep the attention of the wider public and also put across the story of everybody, young and old, who are facing a bleak future as a result of our politicians losing touch with the majority. Although sadly, in this country the majority are too bone idle to protest a worthy course, as has been seen throughout history. It’s a pity we’re not more like the French, don’t like something? Do something about it.

I think this is brilliant! Economic injustice is what sparked off the whole Occupy global movement in the first place. I welcome this, and wish to thank whoever has arranged this. I’ll try to be there tomorrow!

Sad to think OccupyLSX has come to this – welcoming Cameron’s plans as a ‘step in the right direction’ and arranging debates between right-wing Labour people like Glasman and the Tories.
