Your comments about what has to be paid for in philippines is quite stupid really,
we also have to pay for everything, its called INCOME TAX and N.I. and VAT and need I go on ?
Its about how ‘wealth’ is gained and distributed !

This is the best marketing opportunity that they have had for a generation & there is a new audience, ripe for indoctrination. Obviously it is in “their” best interests to keep the thing going for as long as possible & maybe even force a confrontation with the security forces. I doubt any of them are really concerned about the Church or the general public for that matter.

Ultimately they will be forgotten, but from the inside the movement looks as if it is steaming forward. In reality most of the “99%” have already forgotten about it. Occupylsx is now consigned to a drawer next to “Greenham Common Women” & “CND”. The press has ceased coverage because nothing noteworthy is coming out of the place & however much the “occupants complain about U.K. society they are far better of than most of the world’s population. Any of the readers here been to the Philippines ? You have to pay an insurance premium just to be eligible for a fire brigade or ambulance service, if you cannot pay for healthcare you don’t get it & there is no public housing, unemployment benefits or pensions. Be thankful for what you have in U.K., it’s far better than most places !!!
