Sorry Dill Doe and others, I personally cannot help with your requests because the CURRENT SYSTEM we have does not allow this sort of information to be easily accessed. Lets h.o.p.e. it changes soon so we will all be happy, well most of the 99% anyway, there will always be 1 or 2 die hards that cant let go of the toys !

While not entirely in agreement with the Occupiers’ goals, I have some experience in taking Freedom of Information cases against the City of London Corporation through the appeals process (Information Commissioner’s Office and Information Rights Tribunal), and would be willing to assist with this.

Could you be specific about exactly what information was requested, on what date, and exactly what reply was received?

…just seen the BBC report covering the ‘Eviction Notice’ that occurred yesterday. Interesting, unbiased turn of phrase they chose to use. Apparently after being attached to the tents the notices were ‘torn down’…………I was right there and nothing was ‘torn’ down at all.

If you want to read another piece of unbiased, accurate (?) journalism grab a copy of The Spectator and read Rod Liddle’s article. If you do, please note his opening premise (the decision to go down to St. Paul’s to see what’s actually happening) and then note who he decides to quote first.

The corporation is a public authority and the Freedom of Information Act applies to it and it has to provide such information under law when requested. Occupy London is not a public authority and the Freedon of Information Act would not apply to it and they are not under law required to provide that.
