1st WEEKEND SEPTEMBER AT BALCOMBE COMMUNITY PROTECTION CAMP.
4th weekend in Balcombe Community Protection Camp. A few streams for you to see what the camp is like.
Saturday morning, we received an update from Silver Fox.
The Solar Panels were installed after some setbacks. Hopefully the camp will now have better power.
The water has been piped in closer to the camp and just near the secondary kitchen, for meat products and skipped foods brought in by the skipping teams.
Questions now pertain to media access due to the 3G not being optimum.
It is getting colder and the camp will stay if Cuadrilla have their license extended. If so, cold weather gear would be needed. Pallets to raise tents off the ground and benders would be needed to insulate the tents.
31st August update from Silver Fox.
1st September. Breakfast at the Kitchen. Would people shout “GET A JOB!” to the kitchen volunteers?
Druids in Balcombe welcoming the morning.
Manuela visiting for the weekend.
Belt it out at Balcombe
The camp asked the police to close off the road for a couple of hours, whilst the choir had a concert.
Finally an open letter from one of the Community Protectors:
